reading:
John Bowe (ed): Gig: Americans Talk About Their Jobs
Gail Simone: Birds of Prey
Sarah Vowell: Take the Cannoli
Howard Zinn: People's History of the U.S.
First, finishing off what remains from last night:
Focus on the Fridge Decay Wars. Cut off the 2nd Mold Infantry's attack on the crisper.
Program TiVo for Enterprise rerun on Sunday. (You'd think I'd remember the fun one)
Write 2000 words for NaNoWriMo (up to 3000 now -- gonna at least try to catch up this weekend)
Email people. Expect delighted "I thought you'd been trapped under a collapsed bookcase for two months!" responses to many of them.
Finish up that thing for that person that was supposed to be done Saturday.
SLEEP. Sleep. Sleep.
And then I can:
Finish reading Michael Chabon short stories (in preparation for tomorrow's library trip)
Start the next book in my Bookslut pile
Watch a little TV -- perhaps this week's Ed, or The OC
Enjoy a tasty dinner
Enjoy a tasty beverage or two
SLEEP. Sleep. Sleep.
Most Fridays, I'm an eager beaver to leave the apartment. But this week of running around and not sleeping and doing things has taken that impulse and made it go very very far away.
