You know what's cool about being a vague sort of agnostic? You're not compelled by your faith to spend two hours watching a man of peace beaten and ultimately tortured to death.

You do end up missing out on Animatronic Jesus. But I can live with that.

A fun fact from the IMDb trivia department, however:

It's Mel Gibson's hands that nail Christ to the cross during the Crucifixion scene. Gibson decided this because he didn't want any further conspiracy about who was blamed for killing Jesus.

Good to know.
