Wednesday, May 12, 2004 People you probably didn't know were in Troy An IMDB perusal proved interesting. I knew about some of these, but others I'd completely forgotten about. Sean Bean (as Odysses, meaning that all my friends are totally excited for Sean Bean's The Oddessy now) Tyler Mane (Sabertooth in X-Men, pro wrestler) Brian Cox (BRIAN COX) Rose Byrne (she was in I Capture the Castle, and has a huge role in the movie as Brad Pitt's love interest) Julian Glover (who, among other things, was the voice of Aragog in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) Saffron Burrows (you know, not-Olivia-Williams?) Julie Christie (JULIE CHRISTIE) Peter O'Toole (I) (PETER O'TOOLE) And so many other dumpy British character actors -- including Brendan Gleeson! I still haven't decided if I'm going to see this -- I'm plenty busy, and have little taste for warfare these days.
